Danang City's officials inspected the erosion of Sao Bien Beach

Tran Chi Cuong, deputy head of the city’s Tourism Department, said that the erosion has occurred over the past month. 

The department has co-operated with the management board of Sao Khe Beach to consolidate the beach with bags of sand to ease the erosion, Cuong added.

Tho instructed the Department of Construction to work with the departments of Science and Technology and Natural Resources and Environment to deal with the problem as soon as possible. He urged local authorities to quickly find out the cause of the erosion to adopt effective solutions.

According to Tho, local authorities need to warn people and tourist of the possible dangers.
