Frost appears on Mau Son Mountain
Frost and ice have appeared on Mau Son Mountain in the northern province of Lang Son for the second day as temperatures fell to minus one degree.
Hoang Lang Huy, a worker at the Lang Son Province's Department of Culture and Tourism said that the snow and frost became thicker this morning, December 31, as temperatures fell to minus one degree.
"Thousands of visitors have arrived at the mountain to see the unusual weather and scenery as it occurred on the 2019 New Year Holiday," Huy said.
Trees and grass on the 1,500-metre-mountain at the Vietnam-China border have been covered with frost over the past two days.
