National strategic consultation workshop on environmental protection
A consultation workshop was held in Hanoi on November 15 to review the National Strategy on Environmental Protection until 2020 and map out a strategy for 2021-2030.
Vo Tuan Nhan, Deputy Minister of Natural Resources and Environment said “Society, the economy, and the environment are the three major pillars of sustainable development. We need to mobilize more resources and call on enterprises and the public to create a breakthrough in environmental protection.”
Vietnam is a member of the Paris Agreement on Climate Change, pledging to reduce 8% of greenhouse gas emissions by 2030.
