Vietnam participates in Russian charity fair
Vietnam joined 13 other members of the Asia-Pacific Women’s Group (APWG) at the APWG humanitarian fair in Russia on May 28.

The annual fair aims to raise money to help handicapped children and orphans in Russia and around the world.
The Vietnamese delegation included wives of Vietnamese embassy and agencies’ staffs, who introduced traditional dishes and bamboo and rattan products, as well as arts and handicrafts, to international friends.
Delegations also had the chance to show off their cultures through songs and dances, and also organised healthcare places for women and children.
At last year’s event, the Vietnamese delegation collected over RUB50,000, the second highest amount of all 18 delegations.
