>> Rural children remain at risk of drowning
>> A hard life for children in rural areas
Today, June 1, is International Children’s Day - for most a time of gifts and extra attention from parents - but some are not so lucky.
Huu Nghi or Friendship Village in Hanoi’s Tu Liem District is providing care for kids who were disabled from the effects of Agent Orange during the American War.
The best gift these children could receive may not be a toy, but a chance to integrate into their communities.
