One million books offered to poor children
One million books will be given to children from rural, mountainous and remote areas of the country as part of a progamme launched by the Kim Dong Publishing House on April 23.
The three year “One million books for poor children” programme will present books to 2,000 kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools in places with poor living conditions.
The publishing house also offered 7,000 books to 13 schools in Soc Son district, a suburb of Hanoi, last week.
