DTiNews Newspaper received over VND600 million (USD29,000) from readers after the announcement of its fund to support typhoon victims in the Philippines on November 12.

VND500 million was donated by one anonymous organisation.

Last month, Eco Pharma Joint Stock Company donated VND50 million to support people in central region who suffered the effects of the 10th storm and now they have continued to come to the office of DTiNews to give VND50 million to storm survivors in the Philippines.

"After seeing the devastation in the Philippines, we really felt for them, so we want to help with losses caused by the typhoon," said a representative from Eco Company.
