Trinh Ngoc Giao and Nguyen Thi Bich Loan live in Tay Hoa District and the family have faced difficulties since when their boy Trinh Ngoc Gia Bao was born. He often cried loudly at night and vomited. He was taken to Phu Yen General Hospital when he was four months old where the boy was diagnosed with pneumonia, sepsis and cerebral palsy in early 2016.
The boy Trinh Ngoc Gia Bao is struggling with sepsis and cerebral palsy.
After the one-month treatment at the local hospital without any improvement, he was taken to Children’s Hospital 2 in HCM City. Doctors said that the treatment for the boy would take time and cost a lot.
In mid-2016, after having serious health problems, the husband was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, so was unable to continue his work to support the family.
Loan said to date her family has borrowed a large amount of money to pay the hospital fees and treatment. Due to the financial difficulties, the husband had to return home for the self-treatment. Currently, both the father and son are at risk of death if no timely treatment is provided.
