Boy falls into coma after accident
A poor father in Quang Ngai Province is calling for financial support to help his 15-year-old son who is suffering from traumatic brain injuries after a traffic accident.
Le Tan Dung said his son, Le Quang Thanh, was admitted to Quang Ngai General Hospital on April 10.
"He was given emergency surgery but now he's still in coma and sometimes has seizures so they transferred him to Danang City General Hospital. I'm worried as other patients said the charges were really high and we would have to pay tens of millions of VND once every few days," he said.
Dung's wife died four years ago so he has to raise three children on his own. Thanh is his oldest son and his youngest one is only four years old. Dung's mother died and his father is weak.
"I've borrowed money everywhere. The neighbours are also sympathetic and willing to help us but our village is poor. I don't know what to do. He's only 15 years old, he still has a future ahead," Dung said.
