Readers provide prosthetic arms for disabled father

A poor man in the central province of Ha Tinh who lost both arms after an electric shock has been given prosthetic arms by Dan Tri's readers.
Nguyen Van Hai left his home for the Central Highlands province of Kon Tum to work for an engineering workshop. Due to carelessness, Hai suffered an electric shock and lost both of his arms. From being a strong man, he has now weighs less than 50 kilos.
After his story was published, many people have called and given gifts to them. Thanks to everyone's help, Hai was able to go to Viet Duc Hospital to have two prosthetic arms fitted. At some points, the doctors thought that they wouldn't be able to fit the arms because the remains of Hai's arms are too short.
It will take some training and effort to use the new arms but Hai said he was happy to have the new arms and money to raise his son. He also expressed gratitude to everyone that have helped him.

On April 14, Dan Tri Newspaper also transferred VND140.1m (USD6,360) to Hai and his child.It will take some training and effort to use the new arms but Hai said he was happy to have the new arms and money to raise his son. He also expressed gratitude to everyone that have helped him.
