Three orphans call for help
Three children in Quang Tri Province are in need of financial support after their parents died.
Le Van Cong, Hieu's grandfather, said, "They are still in shock and cry every day. It hurts me seeing them stop eating and just sit in the corner silent."
After Hieu's father died, his mother had found every work she could, from bricklayer to home-help, in order to earn money. Hard work weakened her and no one discovered her illness until it was too late. The neighbours had helped organise the funeral for Hieu's mother.
"Hieu's mother had fainted several times. She only lived three months after being diagnosed with leukaemia. I can only help them so much," said Le Thi Gai, Hieu's aunt.
