Winds often get in through the holes and wide gaps of the walls and the wood planks and pillars are largely damaged by termites in the dilapidated classrooms. However, the gaps also let the sunshine in the classrooms. The teachers replaced part of the roof with a transparent plastic sheet to get more light.
