The Hanoi International Women’s Club (HIWC) will host its annual 26th Annual Charity Bazaar on November 18 to raise funds for underprivileged women and children in Vietnam.

All proceeds collected from the event will benefit underprivileged women and children in Vietnam.

Themed ‘Travel the World and Celebrate’, the event will feature the participation of foreign embassies and communities of 30 countries from around the world, who will treat visitors to their traditional dishes and drinks.

There will also be music and dance performances by students from international schools in Hanoi, as well as booths displaying souvenirs and handicraft products.

Children will be invited to participate in a range of exciting games, while an auction area will be set up, where lucky visitors might win air tickets, jewellery, or other amazing gifts.

According to HIWC President Kate Ruddon, the annual fundraising-event provides an opportunity for Hanoians to celebrate a festive day of diverse cultures and cuisines from around the world.

All proceeds collected from the event will benefit underprivileged women and children in Vietnam.

The bazaar is held in late autumn every year to strengthen the cooperation, friendship and cultural links between the international community in Hanoi and Vietnamese friends.

The HIWC groups hundreds of members from many countries around the world, who are studying, living and working in Hanoi. Since 2005, the club has raised more than US$1.25 million to fund activities aimed at helping Vietnamese women and children.
