Dantri and PVN co-operation aims for more charity activities

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) has joined hands with Dantri/DTI Newspaper to donate VND1.5bn (USD64,200) to charitable activities.


 

PVN and Dantri will build a new bridge for the people in Hamlet 5, U Minh District, Ca Mau Province

In response to the Vietnam Fatherland Front’s annual Day for the Poor, PVN approved a VND1.5bn programme with Dantri Newspaper using the 2018-2019 fund for charitable activities.

VND1bn (USD42,800) will be donated to the Vietnam Fund for Learning Promotion and VND500m for social activities instigated by Dantri/DTI Newspaper. The fund will be used to build classrooms for pupils in mountainous areas.

 

New classrooms will be built for pupils in Son La Province


In the near future, three classrooms at Tung Vai Commune, Ha Giang Province will be built and scholarships will be given to poor pupils in Soc Trang, Ba Ria-Vung Tau and Son La Province. The money will also be used to build bridges in Ca Mau Province.
