Father and children with leukaemia face end
A family in Ha Giang Province are in need of financial support as three members are struggling with cancer.
After their story was published last year, many people visited them in the hospital. Dantri readers donated VND1bn (USD44,000) to them.
However, Vu's youngest son was also diagnosed with leukaemia after that.
Dr Vo Thi Thanh Binh said, "The tests show that Vu and his children have the hereditary genes of the disease. Vu and My's conditions have worsened so we can't help them anymore. Vu's son can be treated with a stem cell transplant."
The hospital can support the family VND450m but Vu still has to pay over VND700m for the operation.
