Widow in need of help to treat illness
A widow in Nam Dinh Province is in desperate need of financial support to cover medical treatment.
Tran Trung Tang, head of the Village 9 said when Dien was still alive, he often said that he was the happiest man yet instances of bad luck occurred one after another.
When Dien got ill, the family borrowed money in order to treat him but he died after one year.
"A few months later, my son said he had a headache. We went to the hospital and he was diagnosed with brain cancer. I couldn't remember what happened until they gave me the mourning dress again," Tam said.
Recently, she was diagnosed with nontoxic multinodular goitre as her neck keeps swelling up and she has breathing difficulty. Doctors recommended surgery but Tam has no money left. She is still in hundreds of millions of VND of debts that she borrowed for her husband.
