Doctors said that she needs an urgent liver transplant to survive, however, the cost would be up to nearly VND1 billion (USD43,478).

Dr. Nguyen Huu Duoc from Viet Duc Hospital said that the liver transplant is the only method to save her because other methods have failed.

Now, she cannot move due to her critical lung condition.

The mother feels totally powerless after hearing of the costs.

Doctor Nguyen Thi Thu Ha from the hospital’s Children Ward donated VND2 million to help Vung and her daughter to return home.

The life of the girl depends on the generosity of donors.
