Young girl calls for help for terminally-ill mother
A girl in Ha Nam Province is calling for help to treat her mother from cancer after being abandoned by her father.
"When she was just several days old, my husband went to the Central Highlands region for work but he never returned. I don't know how she will live when I die," Huyen said.
Huyen said she was diagnosed with lung cancer last year but she was not ready to die yet as Oanh still needs to go to school. Huyen mostly stays in bed and struggles to breathe and fight the pain.
"Please don't die, you have to live to see me in college," Oanh said.
Oanh often hurried to return home after school, fearing the worst for her mother while she is still in class.
"Please help my mother, I only have her left," Oanh said.
