The couple Nguyen Anh Quoc and Tran Thi Co from Dak Nong Province’s Krong No District said that their daughter Nguyen Tran Huyen Trang, 7, developed leukaemia for three years.

Quoc said that in December 2019, his daughter faced consecutive fever, epistaxis and oedema. She was taken to a local hospital where doctors said that she faced pleural effusion. After that she was moved to a better hospital where she stayed for nearly a month.
However, after being discharged from hospital, she vomited and had tympanism. The family took her to the HCM City Hospital of Haematology and Blood Transfusion for the medical check-up. She was diagnosed with critical stage leukaemia.
The couple has sold all of their assets to save their daughter.
Trang stayed at the HCM City Hospital of Haematology and Blood Transfusion and Hue Central Hospital for months.
During the radiation therapy treatment, the girl faced high fever and serious complications, which put her at risk of death.
She also contracted bacterial infection which have affected many organs and caused great pains.
Due to Covid-19, Trang and her mother could not return home for Tet, so they stayed at Hue Central Hospital.
