The school was hard hit by Storm Molave in September last year.

Each room which covers 70 square metres can accommodate 15-20 students with a bathroom and a toilet.

Truong Quang Ky, headmaster of Tra Bui Primary and Secondary Day Ethnic Minority School, said that the rooms are a meaningful gift for the school.

Ho Van Ba, chairman of Tra Bui Commune, expressed his deep thanks for the construction.

The students happy with the new dormitories

Ho Thi Thuy, a student of the school, said that she is very happy to see the new rooms which are really comfortable.

The school has 375 students with the majority born into poor ethnic minority families. Among those, 84 students have to stay at school overnight. They often return home once every month as their homes are too far from the school.
