Slinh faces severe burns

Slinh has been staying at the National Institute of Burns’ Intensive Care Ward for over the past ten days. However, he has shown little sign of recovery.

Lau Giang Pao, Slinh’s younger brother, said that their parents died when he was just three years old. Slinh became the family’s breadwinner at the age of 11.

Slinh has four children, including two who were disabled right after being born. Meanwhile, his wife has her own health problems. She mostly stays at home to take care of the two disabled children.

According to Pao, Sling and their three other brothers took a loan to grow 2,000-star anise trees to make essential oil. Pao is trying to borrow money from different sources to save Sling.
