Dantri Newspaper holds an opening ceremony for a new bridge in Tuyen Quang Province on March 10.
The bridge, which is five-metre-wide and 10-metre-long, was built with an investment of VND 699 million donated by the family of Nguyen Thi Hong Ha from Hanoi following an article published in the Dantri Newspaper.

According to the article, Pooi Village in the mountainous district of Lam Binh is often isolated during flood season. The village has 40 families with 168 people who earn their living by growing rice and from forestry products. As many as 80 percent of local people are living in poverty.
The villagers have always dreamed of having a firm bridge across the Pooi Spring so that they can safely travel during the floods, but local authorities have been unable to carry out the project due to financial issues.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Dantri/Dtinews' Editor-in-Chief, Pham Tuan Anh, shared that this was the 72nd construction projects built by the newspaper nationwide and the fourth in Tuyen Quang over the past 18 years.
