The event is co-chaired by the Wallonia-Brussels Delegation in cooperation with the Kim Dong Publishing House, the Embassy of Canada and the Association of French Speaking Universities.

The famous Belgian comic strip ‘Spirou’, which has been running since 1938, will be introduced by the Belgians, while a series of Vietnamese comic strips with a cat theme - to mark the Year of the Cat - will be launched.

The well-known Belgian comic writer Stephen Desberg and Canadian comics lecturer Sylvain Lemay will also be in attendance. They will have the chance to interact with Vietnamese university students and comic artists during a number of events.

Publishing houses from both Vietnam and Belgium will also host a seminar on comic book publication.

At the same event last year, around 62 works by Vietnamese and Belgian comics writers were displayed.
