Despite the doors not opening until 7pm, legions of fans camped out at the National Convention Centre to meet their idols at the November 19 show.

By 6.30pm a couple of front row tickets were fetching a whopping VND5 million (USD239.23) on the black market.

The group were greeted by the crowd chanting “2NE1!2NE1!”, while the South Korean girls launched into their hits including Fire, I Don’t Care, In the Club, Go Away, Hate You and Ugly.

Vietnam Idol 2007 Phuong Vy and Vietnam Idol 2008 second runner-up Thanh Duy also joined the performance.

2NE1 was crowned "Best New Band in the World" by MTV's Iggy website in 2011. The band recently performed in front of more than 70,000 fans at the Dome Tokyo Stadium in Japan.

At a press conference in Hanoi on November 19, the band refused to answer reporter questions on rumours that three had used drugs.

YG Entertainment has issued an official press release to deny the allegations, saying that it is just a rumour. The company has ordered Seoul police to inspect the case.
