SEA Games 26: Vietnam in top three

Vietnam completed competitions at the 26th SEA Games in Indonesia on November 22 with 96 gold, 90 silver and 101 bronze medals, ranking third after the hosts and Thailand.  

Boxer Luong Van Toan grabbed the last gold for Vietnam as he dominated the men’s light heavy weight under 81kg category.

Earlier, four female swimmers Nguyen Thi Quynh, Nguyen Thi Thuong, Duong Thi Huyen Trang and Phan Luu Ky Duyen finished first in the women’s fin swimming 4x100m surface event.

Their team mate Tran Bao Thu also triumphed in the men’s 400m surface event.

Meanwhile, player Hoang Thi Nhu Y won a gold medal in the women’s individual blitz chess event.
