This year’s event will draw the participation of film makers from nine European countries including Austria, Belgium, Denmark, France, Germany, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, and the UK.

Vietnamese film makers will showcase nine films at the event.

This event is one of a series of activities organised by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) network in Hanoi.

Every night during the festival, audiences will be treated to one European and one Vietnamese documentary on the same theme.

The festival will take place for the first time in Danang City this year.

Another new feature of this year’s festival is a young film-maker’s day which will provide a platform for young Vietnamese documentary film makers.
