The U19 Vietnamese football team was again beaten by Jordan in its last group match of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U19 Championships on November 8.
Right after the whistle blow Jordan took the offensive and goalie Van Nghia had to work very hard to stop a powerful shot by Khalid Al Abed in the fourth minute.

Then, in the 12th minute midfielder Huy Toan had the chance to beat Jordanian goalkeeper Noureddin but failed.

In the second half of the match Qwaider opened the scoring for Jordan but he was equalized by striker Xuan Nam two minutes later.

In pursuing its offensive tactics Jordan scored two successive goals in the 65th and 73rd minutes.

In the 85th minute Vietnam had a successful penalty shot by defender Thanh Hien but its hopes to turn the table quickly faded when Jordan score two more goals to end the match 5-2 in its favour.

In group C, the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea lost 0-2 to Uzbekistan and was placed third.
