An exhibition themed “Agent Orange (AO), Sense and Justice” opened today, July 23, in the central city of Danang.

Hundreds of photos and objects will also be displayed at the exhibition

The show, which will run through August 10, marks the 52nd Day for Victims of Agent Orange, on August 10, as well as the 10th birthday of Vietnam Association of Victims of Agent Orange/Dioxin (VAVA), on July 22.

The exhibition is expected to help raise the awareness of the disastrous effects of AO on Vietnam's population and environment while calling for social support for AO victims.

Through photos on display, visitors can empathise with physical and spiritual struggles of AO victims, hopefully prompting some take practical measures that will help alleviate the suffering of those affected.

Hundreds of photos and objects related to the use of AO/dioxin by the US Army will also be displayed at the exhibition.

This is  to be the largest-ever AO/dioxin exhibition of its kind held in Danang to date, and is sponsored by VAVA, High Command QK5, the Danang Association of AO/Dioxin Victims, the Danang Veterans’ Association and the Danang Museum.

The VAVA will introduce a collection of 159 songs expressing kindness and sympathy towards the victims and their struggles.
