Manchester City FC officially will play a friendly match on July 27 at Hanoi's My Dinh Stadium.

Do Quang Hien, the chairman of SHB Bank, said, "The contract is signed. Manchester City representatives will arrive in Hanoi within this week to officially announce the news."

Manchester City has promised to send its strongest team, including Sergio Aguero, Security will be high, with 1,000 police and 300 guards on site for the game.

Ticket prices for the match are VND600,000, VND1m, VND1.5m and VND1.8m.

SHB Bank is a partner with Manchester City Club. There are talks to open a football academy in Vietnam to train young talent and work with SHB Danang FC and Hanoi T&T FC to train managers and coaches.

Vietnam is in third place in group F of the 2018 World Cup qualifiers. Group winners and the four best runners-up across all groups will advance to the 2019 AFC Asian Cup.
