The contest welcomes submissions of photos on nature, life, tangible and intangible cultural heritage, from locals and foreigners.

One of the main themes will be “Markets" as the country has more than 8,000 markets of various sizes and types. Photos of supermarkets will not be accepted.

The contest will award 16 prizes, including three first prizes, three second prizes, three third prizes and seven consolation prizes.

The awards ceremony will take place in November.

About 100 photos will be chosen for display in exhibition areas in HCM City, Hanoi and Đà Nẵng from October 2017 to March 2018.

“We are considering holding an exhibition by Hanoi’s Hoàn Kiếm Lake to reach more tourists,” an organiser said.

This awards are organised by Vietnam Heritage Magazine under the Cultural Heritage Association of Vietnam and Canon Marketing Vietnam Company.
