International arts carnival to delight Hanoi audiences

International artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills arts troupe will present an unprecedented, unique, street carnival in the pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake, in Hanoi on September 16-17.



International artists from Sun World Ba Na Hills arts troupe will present a street carnival in the pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake.

As many as 86 artists from Europe, including instrumentalists, singers, dancers, acrobats, jugglers, fire dancers and clowns, will perform in colourful and impressive clothing to stir the space around Hoan Kiem Lake.

During the two days of the carnival, artists will perform from 10am to 12pm and from 7pm to 9pm per day.

Four drum artists, 18 skilled instrumentalists, dancers and beautiful European models will attract audiences and visitors to join in with the passionate street dances and music.

During the breaks, audiences will be able to enjoy performances of fire dancing, jolting, juggling and acrobatics. Children will have a chance to meet the beautiful princesses and handsome princes like in the fairytales.

In addition, the swordplay artists will reproduce the spectacular swordplay scenes from the famous movie entitled ‘Three Musketeers’.

The international arts carnival will be the largest-scale street art event, with the participation of the most international artists, ever to be held in Hanoi.

The event is also the first programme among a series of exciting activities that the Hanoi People’s Committee, in collaboration with Sun Group, will regularly organise at the pedestrian streets around Hoan Kiem Lake, contributing to attracting more visitors to the capital.
