Kong director returns Vietnam with his family

Director of Hollywood blockbuster Kong: Skull Island Jordan Vogt-Roberts and his family have visited Ninh Binh Province, one of the film locations.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts returned Ninh Binh with his grandmother, mother and uncle on January 15-17 nearly a year after the film was screened. 

On this occasion, Jordan Vogt-Roberts surveyed some other sites in Trang An to make another film.

Jordan Vogt-Roberts has been appointed as Vietnam’s tourism ambassador for his efforts to promote the country’s beauty through Kong:Skull Island.

The director’s family were really impressed by the beauty of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Trang An.

They came to see famous landscapes in Ninh Binh such as Tam Coc-Bich Dong, Bai Dinh Pagoda and the place where Kong: Skull Island was filmed. They also met the locals featured in the native village scene in the film.
