The world-famous London Symphony Orchestra (LSO) will perform a music show on Hanoi pedestrian street area tonight, October 5.

This is the second time for LSO to attend this event after the last year’s performance.

The concert will be started with the Vietnamese national anthem Tien Quan Ca (The Marching Song) by late musician Van Cao. It will be followed by works by world famous composers like Joseph Haydn, Antonin Drovak, Pablo de Sarasate, Jean Sibelius, Felix Mendelssohn, and P. I. Tchaikovsky.

Two big screens will be installed on Dinh Tien Hoang Street for the live broadcast of the programme.

Elim Chan planned to join Vietnam Airlines Classic - Hanoi Concert 2017, but she couldn’t because of health problems.

Initially, the concert was slated to be held on October 6, but it then was rescheduled because of the national mourning for former Communist Party of Vietnam General Secretary Do Muoi.
