YouTube last week announced the launch of YouTube Kids in Vietnam, an application built from the ground up that brings an unparalleled library of content from all over the world to families.

YouTube Kids has been launched successfully in over 38 countries, receiving more than 70 billion views, over 14 million weekly active viewers, and tens of millions of downloads by families who rate it among the top five kids apps available. It’s now available to download in Vietnam for free on Google Play and App Store.

Since Google first introduced YouTube Kids in 2015, the YouTube Kids team, many of whom are parents themselves, have worked hard to add features for both parents and kids, as well as made improvements based on feedback from its community. It’s an experience and an app that Google is proud of and one it believes gives kids the opportunity to explore their endless curiosity, learn about new topics, and be entertained.

The app’s family-friendly design makes it even easier to find Kids TV Vietnam or the latest video from ToyStation. YouTube Kids now features more color and characters that exemplify the magic of YouTube. From water bottle flip guy to the sprinkle toast character, kids can now find even more characters to love in the app.

Google’s partners and the YouTube Kids team will offer collections of trusted channels on a variety of subjects, from arts and crafts and music to sports, learning, and so much more. This makes it easy for parents to select only the channel collections and topics they want their kids to access. Just go into Profile Settings, and select from available collections such as the Asian Parent Vietnam and The British Council.

“I really appreciate Google’s efforts to bring the YouTube Kids app to Vietnamese children as a healthy playground in the internet world,” said Mr. Vu Minh Dao, Head of the Department of Culture, Education, Youth, and Children at the National Assembly Office. “YouTube Kids is designed not only to provide better experiences for children but also to provide tools for parents to direct their children to access information that is conducive to their development, preventing them from exposure to harmful information on cyberspace.”

“Our top priority is to provide the best experience for families and kids to access enriching family-friendly content,” said Mr. Don Anderson, Head of Kids and Learning Partnerships, YouTube Asia Pacific. “As a parent, I also want to know that I have tools to help manage my family’s experience. YouTube Kids gives parents control to provide a customized and contained experience for their children to explore their endless curiosities and learn about new topics that excite them. The launch of YouTube Kids is testament to the incredible growth of family and learning content.”
