Road near Hanoi's My Dinh Stadium shut for Vietnam-UAE clash

The Hanoi Police Department have announced a vehicle ban plan on many local streets during the Vietnam-UAE football match in the second round of the 2022 World Cup Asian qualifiers.

The clash is slated to take place at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi at 8 pm today, November 14.

From 2-10 pm today, trucks and coaches of more than 16 seats will be banned from Duc Tho, Le Quang Dao, Me Tri, Chau Van Liem, Do Xuan Hop, Tran Huu Duc, Nguyen Co Thach, Nguyen Hoang, Ham Nghi, Tan My, Ho Tung Mau and Pham Hung near the stadium.

During the ban, vehicles can take different routes. For example, from National Highway 32 and Thang Long Avenue or from National Highway 32, Road 70 and Pham Hung Street to the city centre.

People are encouraged to use public transport to the stadium and strictly obey traffic regulations.
