War veterans scramble for Vietnam-Thailand clash tickets

Hundreds of war veterans scrambled to buy tickets for a match between Vietnam and Malaysia tonight, November 19, in the second round of the 2022 World Cup Asian qualifiers.

On Monday afternoon, the Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) received ticket registration procedures for war veterans.

According to the VFF, around 400 tickets of the match will be sold to war veterans.

Many people came to the VFF headquarters near My Dinh National Stadium. 

  


After the registration finished, they received a receipt to collect their ticket this morning. 



The VFF headquarters were in chaos as some people failed to keep calm to wait for their turn. 

    

 

VFF staff even had to temporarily closed registration tables due to the disorder. Following this, several tried to climb over the walls of the agency.

That Vietnam-Thailand match will take place at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi at 8 pm today. Many local streets will be closed to traffic around the match.
