The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) on October 22 announced ticket prices for the Vietnam matches against Japan and Saudi Arabia in the final round of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers. Tickets range from VND500,000-1,200,000 (USD22-52).

The organisers will only sell tickets for 30 percent of the stadium's capacity as required by Hanoi People's Committee. The VFF will issue about 10,000 tickets and 2,000 invitations.

According to the organisers, spectators must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 with a second shot being injected at least 14 days before the match, or recover from Covid-19 within six months. They must also test negative for the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 within 72 hours before the match, and follow strict requirements including safety distance for Covid-19 prevention.

Vietnam will host Japan on November 11 and Saudi Arabia five days later.

Vietnam set a milestone by making the final 2022 FIFA World Cup Asian qualifiers for the first time in domestic football history, but have yet to register a point after four consecutive defeats.

The team are in Group B with Japan, Australia, Saudi Arabia, China and Oman and are now the bottom of the group.
