British artist to perform in Vietnam

Award-winning UK folk artist, Jim Moray, will perform in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, announced the British Council in Hanoi on August 16.

In Hanoi, the talented artist will perform with Vietnamese and international colleagues in a gala evening to celebrate the 8th congress of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), which will be held in Bao Son Park on August 19.

One day later, Jim Moray will sing with the second runner-up winner of Vietnam Idol 2010, Van Mai Huong and young singer Quoc Thien in Ho Chi Minh City. Free tickets are available at the British Council office on 25 Le Duan Street (District 1).

Jim Moray is an English folk singer, multi-instrumentalist and record producer. He has been given many awards by BBC Radio 2 and leading magazines in the UK. After producing his first album, Sweet England, he has been highly appreciated as a talent of future English folk music.
