Vietnam contender for Miss World announced

The Department of Performing Arts has licensed Miss Sea Nguyen Thi Loan to represent Vietnam at the Miss World 2014 pageant set for London, the UK on December 14.

In making the announcement, Le Minh Tuan from the department revealed that this year’s pageant is expected to attract 130 contestants from countries and territories across the globe.

Elite Vietnam CEO Nguyen Thi Thuy Nga said with her company’s support, Loan and her film crew have also recorded a number of videos in Danang to send to the organising board of the contest.

She has prepared in every way possible for the beauty pageant.

Born in Thai Binh province, the 24-year-old lovely and talented woman studied at the Hanoi University of Trade.

She is 1.76 meters tall and weighs 58 kg, with body measurements of 90-63-93.

She won the Miss Sea title and was in the top five of the Miss Vietnam 2010 pageant. She also was second runner-up at the Miss Ethnic Vietnam beauty contest in 2013.
