DTiNews will jointly organise an Ao Dai Festival to highlight the continued popularity of Vietnam’s national costume in Hanoi on March 4.

Nineteen designers from all over Vietnam, including Nguyen Minh Hanh, Cao Minh Tien and Viet Ha, will present their latest collection of ao dai inspired by flowers.

“Each flower has its own meaning. Designers have chosen a flower for their ao dai collections," said designer Minh Hanh.

At this festival, people will see collections designed for all people, including mature women and men, children, and the disabled, she added.

The event’s guests include famous veteran actresses Tra Giang, Thanh Tu and Nhu Quynh.

The representatives of some international organisations will also take part in the festival.

Speaking at the press conference on March 1, Dantri/DTiNews Editor in Chief Pham Huy Hoan said that the festival is part of efforts to promote the country’s famous national costume.

The event will be co-organised by the Women’s Newspaper, Hanoi Television, DTINews and VietMode.
