Miss Vietnam 2014, Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen, has asked government agencies to help find out how her image has ended up on the cover of some sex products in Japan.

The photos of Ky Duyen in a bikini, in an advertisement for a cushion brand, and her sleeping on a flight are all used on a cover of a sex VCD and a poster of a clinic for men in Japan with introductions saying she is a famous actress and can have sex with 50 men a day.

Duyen said that she was really shocked to find out about the posters through local social networks and newspapers on March 8.

"I don't know how they got those photos but what they did has seriously damaged my image and reputation," the 20-year-old beauty queen said.

In an interview with DTiNews, manager of the beauty queen, Luong Trong Nghia, said that they have sent letters to the ministries of Public Security and Culture, Sports and Tourism asking for help to investigate the case.

"We're also working with some lawyers on how to get these offenders to pay compensation to Ky Duyen for what she has suffered," Nghia confirmed.

A spokeperson from the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Associate Professor Phan Dinh Tan told Sports and Culture Newspaper that such actions should be condemned and strictly punished.

"Ky Duyen is Miss Vietnam so what they did has not only badly affected Duyen personally but also damaged the image Vietnamese women," Tan explained. "As this was done abroad, we need support from the Ministry of Information and Communications in the investigation also."

Nguyen Cao Ky Duyen was crowned Miss Vietnam 2014 but she has come under fire for her appearance with criticism that she is average looking.
