Hanoi student crowned Miss Vietnam 2016
Do My Linh, a 20-year-old student at the Hanoi Foreign Trade University, was named Miss Vietnam 2016 at the finale in Ho Chi Minh City in the evening of August 28.

Miss Vietnam 2016 received a cash prize worth VND500 million (nearly US$25,000) and a VND2.2 billion (US$89,680) crown designed and produced by Long Beach Pearl- a famed pearl jewellery of Vietnam.
The first runner-up Ngo Thanh Thanh Tu (left) got a cash
prize of VND300 million (US$13,452). The second runner-up Huynh Thi Thuy
Dung (right) was presented VND250 million
(US$11,210).
