Miss Vietnam 2016 Do My Linh will join Miss World 2017 which is scheduled to be held in China in November.

Her management unit is working with Elite Vietnam, the franchise holder of Miss World Vietnam, to complete required procedures for the participation in the contest, Linh said.

Linh said that she received the nomination from Elite Vietnam to join Miss World 2017 around a month ago. She was really happy and proud to represent Vietnam at the world’s biggest beauty contest.

At present, Linh is focusing to improve her fashion performance skills, physical exercises as well as English skills.

Linh, 21, is a student of Hanoi University of Foreign Trade. She is 1.71 metres tall and weighs 52 kilos. Since being crowned in 2016, she has actively participated in social and charitable activities.

Do My Linh will be the 2nd Miss Vietnam to compete at Miss World since the participation of Miss Vietnam 2006 Mai Phuong Thuy.
