MAMA music awards to be held in Vietnam
The Mnet Asian Music Award 2017 will be held in multiple locations for the first time including Vietnam, Japan and Hong Kong.
This is the first time since the awards began in 1999 that they are being held in multiple locations at the same time. The event is hoped to connect music lovers and encourage more exchanges between the artists in order to boost the music scene in Asia.
The awards this year will start at Hoa Binh Theatre in HCM City on November 25, to Japan's Yokohama Arena on November 29 and Asia World-Expo Arena in Hong Kong on December 1.
Last year, several international singers including Timbaland, Gallant and Wiz Khalifa attended the awards which were live broadcasted in 97 countries for 2.4 billion viewers.
