The exhibition marks a 20-year milestone for Hanoi Studio and is intended to showcase the development of Vietnamese contemporary fine arts, according to Dương Thu Hằng, owner of Hanoi Studio.

Since opening two decades ago, Hanoi Studio has contributed to developing the fine arts market, promoting domestic artworks to the world and offering a space for artists to create and exchange ideas.

Artist Vũ Đình Tuấn who is known for silk paintings and wood-blocks, said Hanoi Studio is more than a gallery. It inspires artists and provides them a platform to introduce their works to the public.

Tuấn introduced two paintings at the exhibition, including Peacock in Love and Silently Waiting for Flower Blooming. These silk paintings were displayed in the US in September.

“We invite people to watch the paintings, installation art and sculptures, and then they will listen to the artists who tell their stories, inspiration and concerns of life,” Hằng said.

The exhibition will run until December 10 at the Exhibition House, 29 Hàng Bài Street, Hanoi.
