A museum of agriculture devices in Ha Tinh Province houses old water tanks and millstones which are preserved as witnesses of Vietnam's past.

Le Quang Hoa, a businessman in Ky Anh Commune, has collected and preserved the items. Some of them are tens to hundreds years old.

The museum is divided into 12 rooms and named after 12 zodiac animals. Hoa said he loved collecting the items and show younger generations what their parents and grandparents had used.

"If our children want to explore the past, I want them to be able to see the items with their own eyes and touch those rudimentary items. Despite the hard work in daily lives, everyone still fought for their country's independence," he said.

People who want to remember the old times can also come to the museum to see many items that are no longer exist in modern times. Hoa said he spent a long time searching all over the country to find the items.

"Some people donated the items immediately but some refused to sell. We had many difficulties but after three years, our museum has collected over 100 items," Hoa said.
