Unique shows from other countries may be chosen to perform for the citizens in Vinh Phuc and Ninh Binh provinces for puppetry dissemination and broader exchange forum for all puppet groups. The organisers will also hold workshops for Vietnamese and international artists to exchange, introduce the unique features of their art and cultures.

The organisers will also collaborate with the departments of culture, sports and tourism in Ninh Binh and Vinh Phuc to hold field trips to the Tay Then site in Vinh Phuc to explore the worship of mother goddesses in Vietnam and Trang An Scenic Landscape Complex in Ninh Binh for the history. This is a chance to introduce Vietnamese cultures and scenery to the world and help the artists find inspiration.

The festival aims to promote co-operation in the culture and art between other countries and Vietnam and provide a showcase for puppetry troupes from around the world.
