Miss Earth 2018 Nguyen Phuong Khanh was warmly welcomed back home when she landed at the Tan Son Nhat Airport on Sunday.

Many fans, family members and the media gathered at the airport to welcome the first representative from Vietnam to win one of the big four international pageants.

Khanh looked graceful in a light blue Vietnamese traditional long dress and expressed that she was really moved and happy by the warm welcome.
Miss Earth 2018 will have one week in Vietnam to visit her family and join in some social and charity activities before returning to the Philippines to take on her mission.

Khanh, born in the Mekong Delta province of Ben Tre in 1994, was the second runner-up at the Miss Ocean Vietnam Global in April.
She is 1.71 metres tall, weighs 51kg, with body measurements of 90-58-94 cm. She is now studying marketing at Curtin Singapore University.
