22 top contestants make it to ASEAN+3 Song Contest’s semifinals
A list of the top 22 local and foreign contestants who have been selected to compete in the semi-final round of the ASEAN+3 Song Contest has just been revealed.
The semifinals are scheduled to take place in the northern province of Quang Ninh province's Ha Long City from July 26-28.
The highlight of the final night is set to be the guest appearance of four singers from Japan, China, and the Republic of Korea.
The event aims to promote cultural exchanges among ASEAN member states as well as creating a platform for young-talented pop stars.
By having the responsibility of hosting the ASEAN+3 Song Contest, VOV desires to play a key role as a national media agency in fostering solidarity and friendship among ASEAN members, in addition to contributing to building a strong ASEAN community.
