Miss World Vietnam 2019 Luong Thuy Linh came to the UK for the beauty pageant a bit late than planned due to some visa problems. She missed the Top Model auditions. However, her company tried to contact the organising board and then sent her photos and videos displaying her catwalk skills. These persuaded the judges who decided to choose for the next round of the competition.

The top 40 also includes the Filipino and Indonesian candidates, 15 from Europe and 11 others from America.

Linh sang the song A Million Dreams at the Talent auditions. “We all have our own dream and we should try to pursue it. The project to build roads for disadvantaged areas in my hometown, Cao Bang Province, is among millions of my dreams,” Linh said.

She donated VND100 million (USD4,347) and also participated in construction material transportation for the project in Cao Bang.

Linh, 19-year-old student from the northern province of Cao Bang, surpassed 38 other contestants to take the crown in the final round of the Miss World Vietnam 2019 beauty contest in the central city of Danang on August 3.

She stands at 1.77 metres tall and has measurements of 89-68-92.
